David C. Eshleman MA, LMFT 109797 is a native Californian and Mental Health Professional that has been working with teens, adults, couples and families since 2012. He completed a 1 year practicum at the South Bay Center for Counseling, providing low fee community and strength based mental health services to a culturally rich group of patients. He helped patients at SBCC for another year as a registered MFT Intern/Associate in their Counseling Dept as well as a therapist with their Parents and Children Together (PACT) DMH program. He also worked for 2 years as a mental health practitioner under supervision by Ruby Paparello, LMFT, where he was trained in a combined psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral approach helping clients address both the past and present. In addition, he has over 6 years of experience as an educator working with young adults on the Autism Spectrum. He co-facilitated Teen to Young Adult:The Gathering Place social skills groups for two years. Currently he is in private practice in Hermosa Beach and Sherman Oaks helping individuals, couples and groups to reduce anxiety, heal relationships, gain insights, restore purpose, and to find balance.
Aside from psychotherapy, which he enjoys passionately, he enjoys photography, camping, hiking, reading, board games, relationship with family and friends, and his dog.
